Accidents happen unexpectedly, and this also goes for your holiday accommodation. To ensure you have the most carefree stay possible, we include indemnity insurance in all bookings. Bookings for holidayparks and campings are excluded. This insurance covers possible damage to the holiday property, such as damage to the contents and interior, up to an amount of € 2,500 (with an excess of € 25). The premium amounts to 1.5% of the cost of your holiday plus 21% insurance tax. It is therefore already included in the cost of your holiday.
You book your holiday well in advance in order to secure the destination of your choice for your holiday. However, events may take place that could force you to postpone or even cancel your holiday. For this reason, you would like effective cancellation insurance to protect you from extra costs.
This is covered by the cancellation insurance that Aan Zee arranges for you through Allianz Global Assistance. It covers costs if you have to cancel your holiday due to illness or a death. This insurance also entitles you to compensation for part of your holiday that you might miss if you arrive late as a result of delays. Your booking confirmation/invoice is your proof of insurance, so keep it in a safe place!
Cost: 5.5% of the cost of your holiday, plus 21% insurance tax and a € 4.50 policy fee. The total cost of the premium amounts to 7% of the total rental charge plus booking fees.
GROUP CANCELLATION INSURANCE
If you are going on holiday as part of a group of more than 7 persons, or as 3 families + 3 additional companions, you can take out a group cancellation insurance policy. You can do this by simply giving us a call and we will arrange the rest. If you would like to have the option of cancelling separately (what we refer to as a 'partial cancellation'), such insurance is available at the same premium that applies to the standard cancellation insurance. If you would like to have the option of cancelling the full rental amount, you can take out group cancellation insurance for 2.5% extra. As of 1 December 2013, we are switching from Europeesche Verzekeringen to Allianz Global Assistance. This will obviously have no effect on insurance policies that have already been finalised. Bookings made before 1 December will still be covered by Europeesche Verzekeringen, while bookings made from 1 December onwards will be covered by Alliance Global Assistance.
