Rent Out Your Home While Youre Away
Have you ever considered renting out your house while youre on holiday? Its an interesting thought. Your house isnt left empty when youre away, your garden and any pets are taken care of and its financially attractive, too. Of course youve considered it. But taking the plunge and actually doing it is a different matter.
An advertisement in a newspaper often yields no response at all. Firstly, because most papers dont reach the vast international market of tourists planning a holiday here, and secondly because they dont generally print pictures. Being a holidaymaker yourself, youll know that half the fun of planning a trip is being able to see where youll be staying.
There are other practical issues, too, like how to ensure that the rent is actually paid, who will give your tenants the keys and, not least, whos going to ensure that the house is clean and tidy upon your return?
