House rules
The House and its surroundings
Every effort has been made to ensure that the descriptions of the properties are correct. However, we cannot be held responsible for any changes made to the furnishings or equipment by the owner. All equipment in the houses should be in working order. Please report any equipment problems to us immediately. Every effort will be made to resolve the issue for you, but we cannot refund money due to mechanical failures.

Linen
The availability of linen is specified in the house descriptions. In some cases linen is free, in others it can be rented for a small fee. Blankets or quilts are always available.
Check-in and check-out
Unless stated otherwise, you may check in to your rental accommodation on Saturday after 4 pm. Tenants must vacate the rental on Saturday before 10 am. Please call our representative if you are running late.
Prices
The rent to be paid for each property is shown in the house description and is correct upon publication on our website. It may be subject to change only in the case of tax reforms. However, once the price of your chosen holiday has been confirmed at the time of booking, then (apart from the correction of any errors) no additional payments will be requested following settlement of the balance.
Deposit
Unless otherwise stated, a deposit is required to cover the cost of any damage and/or breakages incurred during your stay and payable by you, and the cost of any services such as cleaning which may be required. The deposit is to be paid to the owner or his representative at the beginning of your stay. If no damage and/or costs as stated above have been caused and/or incurred by you, or you have settled the cost of these direct with the owner before your departure from the property, the deposit will be returned to you in full immediately after the end of rental period. Arrangements for the return of the deposit should be made between the tenant and the owner or his/her representative upon arrival.
Energy
Energy costs are usually included in the rent. If they are not, this will be specified on the website and your voucher. Energy costs not included in the rent are to be paid to the owner or his/her representative after the rental period.
Telephone
In most houses the telephone cannot be used for outgoing calls. We strongly recommend our tenants to bring a mobile phone.
Cleaning
You must leave the property in the same clean state and general order of repair in which you found it. If you do not, the owner or his/her representative may impose a surcharge. Even if the house is left in an orderly fashion, the owner may charge you for the finishing touch. In the case of larger properties, a third party often does the cleaning. Cleaning costs vary from 15 to 25 per hour. Your deposit will cover any cleaning-related surcharges. As you leave the house you are expected to wash dishes, collect and take garbage to county dumpster sites and not leave a mess.
Furnishings
All the houses and apartments are furnished for normal housekeeping: kitchen, refrigerator, coffee machine, dishes, cutlery, bedspreads, pillows, and blankets. Each house has at least one toilet and a bathroom or shower cubicle. Articles such as toiletries, bath soap, washing-up liquid and washing powder are not provided.
Pools
Usually the owner takes care of the pool, but it may happen that he/she asks you to take care of its maintenance. Please note that not all pools can be used off-season and that a pool may be being repaired or cleaned during your stay. Aan Zee cannot accept any liability for any such discomfort.
Pets
In some houses, pets are welcome, in others they are not. If nothing is mentioned in the house description, then you may bring one pet. If you would like to bring more than one, then please apply to do so in writing.
In some houses a pet stays behind. This will always be stated in the description of the house and we assume that you are aware of this when you make your booking. Obviously, you are expected to take proper care of the pet during your stay.
Camping
Camping on the owners land without his/her permission is prohibited. You may be asked to vacate the premises without a refund if you break this rule.
