This detached villa is located at Bakkum's most beautiful location: along a dead end road at the foot of the forest and dune area with fantastic views across the bulb fields! So relaxing on your terrace, enjoying the sunshine and the magnificent views can therefore certainly be classed as ultimate enjoyment. Even though things are pleasantly quiet in and around the house, the centre is also within walking distance. You can cycle to the beach in just ten minutes. The owners have been so kind as to make 2 bicycles and 2 mountain bikes available. If you want to hire more bicycles, then you can do so at Castricum station (600 m). Extra fun tip: you will often see rabbits hopping along in the garden!

The villa has recently been renovated and the old style has been safeguarded wherever possible, particularly on the outside. The interior is quite austere and modern, with a great deal of art on display. The various different lounge areas are openly linked with each other and have been designed using light colours. The large windows are instantly noticeable when you enter the property. The villa has been built in such a way that you can enjoy the beautiful views from anywhere in the house. As the ground floor is split level and includes a great deal of glass, we feel the villa isn't suitable for children below the age of 8. The villa is really made up of 2 sections, but these were brought together after the renovation. However, these sections can still be separated - with the use of a glass wall - if the need arises. The layout is ideal for couples travelling together who still value some level of privacy, or older children who would like their own sleeping quarters/bathroom etc. The kitchen diner is home to a staircase which leads to the first floor, where you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and wash basin (this section is the original annex). The rest of the house is the original villa and consists of various lounge areas (one of which has an open fire) and a first floor consisting of a large master bedroom with a double bed and an open bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and wash basin.
